July 15, 2009 at 4:10 pm #775818Does anyone know how to make a Windstone Chat channel for like IRC or something? a website based one, so no one has to download anything??
I know over on The DragonCave forum, TJ(the creator) has a web based chat room link in his signature.
It would so neat if we could talk with each other in real time :

July 15, 2009 at 4:16 pm #775819I believe there is a Windstone Chat somewhere, but I’ve never tried getting on it. Give me a second to try and dig up the old thread.

I don’t know if they are still active though. ETA: Doesn’t look like it and the mIRC thing I downloaded (though there is a Java link) is only good for 30 days.
July 15, 2009 at 4:41 pm #775820it’s too bad really : they were talking about Snap making one, but I supose it never came to be?
Would make letting everyone know what’s in the store, much much easier ^^;www.nakaseart.com
July 15, 2009 at 4:48 pm #775821It would be kind of nice, but I don’t know how often it would get used.
July 15, 2009 at 5:00 pm #775822I agree with pegasi, on all the forums I am on, one has thousands of members even, there is only one that even gets used. The otehr forums we have to make dates to get together in the chat room, it is never just a random thing. 🙁

July 15, 2009 at 8:56 pm #775824Yeah, we tried the chat thing for a minute… it just never really caught on. Most just prefer coming here.

July 15, 2009 at 10:22 pm #775826We don’t really delete threads around here. They just wander back to the end of the line. Since there isn’t quite the traffic there is on the Dragon Cave forum the old threads can stick around.
July 15, 2009 at 10:23 pm #775827Is that how the DragCave forum does it, deletes older threads to make room for newer ones?
July 15, 2009 at 10:26 pm #775828Yep. I think threads stick around until they haven’t been posted in for 30 days and then they hit the “recycle bin”.
