The two hatching emperor and empress are only up for bids because the seller backed out of an agreement we had that I was going to buy them. The money order is already in the mail to her and now I have to see if I can get it back from the mailman tomorrow if it’s still in the mailbox. I’d found this woman on craigslist before she’d found someone to post these pieces on the forum and asked her how much she’d wanted for them, she told me 100 each, and of course I accepted. I know they’re worth more than that, but that’s the price she wanted for the individual pieces. I did not tell her they were worth more than that, would any buyer have done so? Maybe that was greedy on my part, but I was willing to pay the price she’d decided she wanted for them and we made an agreement, and now that she found the forum and thinks she’s going to get way more for them (and she probably will, I admit that), she’s backed out of our agreement. I’m now out the cost of the money order and the money in that money order until I can get it back, which may take a while. I’m just dissapointed and depressed and thought I’d share my experience here. If it’s inappropriate, let me know and I’ll delete this post. But I felt I should share this.

I am sorry about the whole situation you have with her. I don’t know about anything you and her were discussing. I was told to post them, and I posted them. All I know is that someone wanted them and that was two weeks ago and she doesn’t want to wait anymore. Please take it up with her directly. Thanks
I understand Kenziesmommy, I have no problem with you putting these pieces up for her, you’re doing a great thing helping someone and dealing with all the hard stuff of selling pieces for her. My problem is with her, and you’re not at fault here at all. I’m sorry if I made it sound like I was upset with you, I’m not at all! 😳
It has been almost 2 weeks, but that’s because she wanted to speak on the telephone instead of agreeing through email, so I was having a hard time getting our schedules to fit so I could call her before I had to go to work, but after she came home from work. We both have full schedules and work a lot. It was pretty long, but we did agree and she didn’t tell me she was tired of waiting, when I finally got her on the telephone everything was pleasant, she gave me her address and I went and got the money order two days later. It’s already in the mailbox.

Well I’m glad it was helpful to someone.
Here’s another cost to this whole situation. Since this women didn’t want to agree on the internet and wanted me to call her, I called her quite a few times, long distance. At the time I just figured it as part of the cost of the dragons, now I’m eating that cost too and I don’t even get anything for it. And she didn’t have the guts to give me a call back when she changed her mind, she sent me an email…
Maybe she should put them on e-bay (the owner not kenzies mommy) so it’s fair in the fact that the final bid is binding. Sorry that happened to you Leigha I know how frustrating it can be 🙁
