Holy crap!! I knew as soon as I saw that guy that he would go for a lot.. but WOW.
I’ve often wondered to myself what I would do if I had a ton of money to play with, would I bid thousands on an ebay piece?

If I’m going to spend a lot on a Windstone, it had better be an old warrior or rising spectral or Secret Keeper. I only paid $1300 for my Spring Green Gold Secret Keeper and this little fledgie has already passed that O.O I loove the color scheme though! That shade of blue on his wings is awesome. If Melody paints an old warrior like this, I’ll be in deeep troble-or I’ll have to close my eyes and say “NOT THERE, NOT THERE, NOT THERE” like the guy on Rose Red (just watched that yesterday-great movie!)

I’m with you. I don’t have a lot of “extra” money anyways, but even I did, I would rather spend it on a larger piece. Still, I’m stoked for Windstone making a ton on these little guys 😉

He surpassed my most expensive Windstone already too (the Spring Green Riser). None of the ‘tiger’ ebay’d items have done a thing for me, but given the prices they go for, it’s obvious why Melody keeps painting them…

GOOD LORD !!!! I wouldnt mind having one but this totally knocks me out of the race. I could never afford that kind of money. Kinda hope Melody can think of a way for us poor folk to get one…lol.

Oh, I definatly mean no offense to anyone! If there weren’t people willing to pay more than “production price” for special pieces, Windstone would be making less money, couldn’t afford to stay in business and thats sad for all of us!
Some people love the little pieces like griffin chicks, curlies and fledgies more than the bigger pieces-and to each their own. Something is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it!
