can you tell us which order the sculpts were created/finished, like a time line? Obviously the sk is the newest
December 25, 2009 at 7:34 am #797604This might help you a bit…It lists the date they were released and the dates they were retired…Each sculpt has atleast one color retired. 🙂

So I am glad you told us about them. 🙂 I’ll have to jot that down and put it in the stack of paper to go through and sort information after I finally run out of PYO’s. 😮
BUT he was made years after the original 4, male, Mother, young and hatcher

Thanks bodine! I hope to have that very set in empea when I get my curio cabinet! *dances around* My Aunt is still holding my late grandma’s (bless her soul) curio cabinet for me and it’s GORGEOUS. The empea set will really sparkle in there, it has lights and everything! (Yes I’ll post pics when I get the cabinet!)
l’January 11, 2010 at 12:38 am #797610😀 Very cool,just remember to be aware that over time lights can fade the sculpts a bit. 🙂 {UV light}

Is it the father, mother, young, and hatching? Or does one need those plus the fledgie, emporer, hatching empress, hatching kinglet… *pauses and counts fingers*…err lap dragon, spectral riser, spectral (sitting), scratching, coiled, mother coiled…and….curled. (I think that covers them all…)
This is actually important to me in collection terms. I am wondering if I have to slowly acquire a complete family or rob a bank in order to get ALL of them…. 😆
Heh, I define “complete set” as “all the sculpts I like” — so my “complete set” of Whites will include everything except the Hatchling, the Hatching Empress, Coiled/Coiled Mama/Curled, and (due to cost, alas, and not dislike) the Secret Keeper.
(All I still need are the Hatching Emperor and the Rising Spectral! Soooooo close!)
Interested in buying or trading for: GB Pebble Sitting Red Fox in dark grey, Lap Dragon Test Paints (Water Sprite, Glacial Pearl, Opulence, Pastel Rainbow, and many others - see my Classifieds ad), Blue Morpho OW, GB Pebble Loaf dragons in blue/aqua/teal, and Griffin Test Paints (Black Rainbow or Frosted Jade).

I believe so…But I don’t take the chance with sunlight on any of them. Indoor lighting I don’t worry so much. I don’t use aquarium bulbs around the house so not much chance of UV directly. 😀January 13, 2010 at 1:14 pm #797614Really,I have all mine under glass without much light,low in cabinets.No direct sunlight.As I have collected the white at different times,I have noticed a big difference in the shades.I don’t know for sure if it has been the lighting or the painter.I have rubies I want to stay dark.Old greens and browns have enough of time against them,who is to say how the light has affected them.I got some on ebay so I don’t know their history.All my new ones are under glass from the time I take them out of boxes except when I play with my camera with them.I dust them every other day with a long bristle,very soft,4 inch paint brush.Protect them as best as you can,they are worth it 😀

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.January 13, 2010 at 4:15 pm #797616I always imagined that besides the main 4, the rest were part of the “community”/clutch of dragons, but not the family. I thought of the Emperer as (of course) the “pack leader” the spectrals kind of like the Shaamen or Medicine Man-they have more power than the regular dragons, but they’re hard to find and elusive. The Old Warrior was “grandpa” telling stories (mostly to the fledgies) and the lap dragon and Scratcher were aunt and uncle (lap=aunt scratcher=uncle) in my world at least 😀
