Anyone have the first clue what this person is really selling?? :
I don’t remember any “green and black” LE male dragons. >.>; I sent them a ‘question’, with some pictures to choose from of what I guessed it might be…but thought maybe someone else had already found out? o.o; I wonder why there aren’t pictures. They have pictures on their other auctions…

I thought repaint too, but then thought maybe they had the name of the sculpt wrong…for that price, I’m kind of expecting either a BEP OW or Lap. >.>; We shall see, assuming they answer me. Strange that the auction is so short, too. I’m very suspicious after the fake unicorn seller. D:
August 17, 2009 at 11:27 pm #780187I was wondering about that auction as well…
August 18, 2009 at 1:02 am #780188Notice that there aren’t any bids–go figure–most people want to see what they’re getting! Weird that there aren’t any pictures! For the price they want and the uncertainity of what you’re getting–I wouldn’t bother! :nea:

Agreed! I don’t even know why one would even try selling something without a picture. Seems shady to me :nea: .
August 18, 2009 at 1:16 am #780190What does the “W” stand for in “a Windstone W. Dragon”?
August 18, 2009 at 1:44 am #780191*payment upon day of selling* Is the allowed?

Their other items don’t look so shady, and their feedback, while there isn’t much of it, doesn’t look fake…
Anyhoo, he/she still hasn’t replied. 9.9…and it ends tmrw. I’m not really interested in buying whatever it is, I just want to know *what* it is! o__o;

August 18, 2009 at 6:23 pm #780195What fake unicorn seller? And the auction is very shady, I don’t trust it.
August 18, 2009 at 10:07 pm #780196They still haven’t replied; I wouldn’t bother with it. There’s something wrong there. >.>
The fake unicorn seller…well, this was a while back, but someone listed an entire set of the unicorns on ebay. They had like…1 feedback at the time, but I messaged to see if they could take a real picture of the Grand Unicorn, since they were using stock photos, and I wanted to know which tail it had. Anyhoo…they sent me a message back saying they didn’t want to take it out of the box b/c it would be soooo hard to repack and it would devalue it if they did. I replied saying it should not be hard to repack, and that it would not devalue it, and I was interested in bidding, but only if I knew which version of the Grand they had. Next thing I knew, the auctions were all gone. They then proceeded to run off to craigslist and put them up there. Same price, same area, so I knew it was them. They weren’t taking anything but the kind of payments craigslist advises against, which made me go hmmm….9_9 So I forgot about them, figuring it was just some n00bish seller who got all bent out of shape over one slightly persistent potential buyer, and didn’t want to deal with scary ol ebay and being forced to answer questions.
Theeenn, a few months later, like 3 sets of unicorns and a couple of sets of the pegasus family show up on ebay for a buy it now/obo. It was the same person – unicorn.elanor.[something or other, I don’t remember], but now they had 12 feedback, and one was from a buyer who had apparently bought a black pegasus family off of them and received it quickly and in perfect condition. The shipping fee was only $15, which I thought odd, but figured maybe they just jacked up the price enough to cover whatever extra they needed for that. They’d had several offers already on the unicorn family, and I figured if it wasn’t what I wanted, I could resell it…so I sent a best offer in after figuring up how much I’d be willing to pay for the whole family based off the averages on Ravnheart. I was pretty surprised to have my offer accepted (they’d rejected so many others…), but was happy, if a little suspicious. So I paid with PayPal. Next thing I know, I get this email from the seller, who’s crying about how ebay or PayPal or whatever has the money on hold because they’re a new seller and this and that, so would I mind if we cancelled the PayPal payment and could I just send a money order?
At that, I was like uh, no. I went and looked at their feedback more closely…all the people that had bought from them had like 1 or 2 feedback, and had similiar weird names with periods in them…they were fake. This person had just made other ebay accounts and left him/herself feedback to make them seem respectable. *smacks her forehead* So I replied to their email saying that I was uncomfortable using anything other than PayPal, and would just like my money back, and no negative feedback would be left. So they gave me my money back, and I reported them to ebay. The end. o.o
August 18, 2009 at 10:38 pm #780197Goodness, what a persistent little creep! 🙄 Now if they’d only grow the sense to put half as much energy into being honest. 😈
