HEY!
Welcome!!
August 28, 2008 at 4:41 pm #730158LOL! Thanks!! 😀 I’m surprised I didn’t know about this site! I’ve collected my Windstones for about 6 years now. I remember walking into a Wicks n’ Sticks store (candle store) and seeing the dragon collections for the very first time and I still know how hard my heart beat when I picked up that first white dragon. The very first one I got was the hatching Emperor in white. After I got that one for Christmas, it was game on! Very quickly I picked up 6 other pieces and I even got the 13″ peacock wizard one Christmas. For years I’ve kept them where everyone could see and admire them and that, they do. I have the Large Male dragon, the Scratching Dragon, The Curled up Mother dragon, the coiled mother each with a crystal ball and a gold egg, the Fledgling dragon and my Hatching Emperor. However, a few years ago I married a military man. Now we move all the time. I’m TERRIFIED that these precious assets of mine will get chipped or worse, broken, over the course of the next few years with all of our moves and unfortunately, I’ve made the heart breaking decision to sell them.
So thats my Windstone story in a paragraph. LOL
I look forward to talking with most of you at some point and I certainly need some shoulders to cry on once shipping day arrives.
Thanks for the warm welcome!! [/img]August 28, 2008 at 4:57 pm #730159I’m sorry you have to sell, Cycleren. I hope one day you may begin your collection anew.
