Member cakcreations has a somewhat “iffy” post, with a link to a website, under “How Do You Find” in the “Community” section.
I can’t tell whether it is SPAM or a genuine attempt to be helpful, though I’m inclined to think SPAM.July 29, 2024 at 11:52 am #1685503Member cakcreations has a somewhat “iffy” post, with a link to a website, under “How Do You Find” in the “Community” section.

August 23, 2024 at 6:26 am #1686030This post by AndyKid has appeared under “Ask Melody”. I think it is in Russian, or maybe Polish?

Got it. Thanks!
January 14, 2025 at 5:55 am #1690815New member Michael Arthurton – real or AI? He has a post in “Reports of Fake & Knock-off Windstones and general infringements” that definitely reads like AI copy and paste.
“Fake Windstones are low-quality replicas lacking key details like the Windstone logo, and proper materials.
Infringements include unauthorized use of Windstone art or designs.
If you suspect a fake or infringement, contact John or the Windstone office for quick action.
Hope this process is not that much complex”January 14, 2025 at 6:01 am #1690816And two other fishy replies – one in “Moved twice recently, might have lost the eyes and gem of unpainted dragon” under “Paint Your Own Windstone”
and one in “Mad,mad, mad weather” under Community.January 14, 2025 at 9:34 am #1690817New member Michael Arthurton – real or AI? He has a post in “Reports of Fake & Knock-off Windstones and general infringements” that definitely reads like AI copy and paste.

January 20, 2025 at 6:45 am #1690937What about Lee Dorn Jewelers? It’s obviously a business but perhaps the owner collects Windstones?

That was a spammer—I removed it. Thank you.
FYI, I check the new users for spam accounts (nearly) every morning. There are generally some tell-tale signs that an account is spam. Occasionally there is a new account with no red flags, and in that case I don’t know for sure until they post some spammy comment on the forum. So if you see suspicious new users first thing in the morning, it’s probably just that I haven’t yet reviewed the new users list for that day…but I will. So it’s not really necessary to post here about those cases (though you certainly can if you want to).
If, on the other hand, you see spammy comments in the forums, it’s probably from users that I couldn’t identify as spammers based on their registration, and in those cases it’s very helpful for me to be notified about them.
Thanks, as always, for your help!
