We finally started!!…..Progress

More progress. We did double wall construction for insulation and soundproofing, so that took a little longer. They also got the storage area built in Russ’s room and got the place for my garden window framed in. Almost all the sheeting is up (actually, they finished it tonight). Friday the roof goes up! 😀 Then comes the part I’m dreading. They will cut open the wall into the house. That means from then on, all access to the new area is thru the living room. I know it’s going to drive me nuts (and the cats, too), but it will be worth it. 😀

Here’s what got done yesterday and today. 😀

When I got home today Russ had a big surprise for me. The guy that’s been inspecting the building said he had a friend who’s looking for a horse trailer (he saw mine in the back yard). Well, today the guy showed up, and he’s going to buy it! 😀 I got less than I really wanted for it, but I don’t have to clean it or advertise or anything, just get my stuff out of it. This pretty much assures that we have enough to finish the house! 😀 😀

Finally got the sheeting on the roof today! Lots of other stuff was done too, but nothing to really take pictures of. It’s finally starting to look like part of the house. 🙂

We got the horse trailer cleaned out on Sunday. They came and got it the same day. 🙂
