(If I ever get a house, I’m getting something like that for my cats. Right now they have to be satisfied with their Kittywalk enclosure.)
Here’s what got done this week. Monday they come back to move dirt. Part of it has to be moved in around the foundation. The rest of the bank has to be moved back from the house. Tuesday they drop lumber! 😀

It’s 20’x32′ and will be divided into two rooms. It looks big in the pictures but when I’m standing by it, it seems smaller to me than I expected. It will be the biggest part of the house though.
Here’s what’s been done this week so far. We got the banks moved back on Monday. The guys did a really good job. Today, they start on the floor and walls.
It looks like the cats are going to have more room than we first thought. Russ did some actual measurments, and they will get up to 15’x52′. 😀 You can see most of the area they will have in the third photo. (of coarse, it’s a mess right now).
Whenever a house is only preshwood and 2×4’s, the rooms seem smaller for some reason. Once the finishing goes up and you start putting stuff in there, this is where you realize how much room you got!
I can’t wait to see the finished pics…

Kimi would kill for that kind of space…. haha… right now she has to deal with our smallish apartment (with it’s awesome view of the refinery. *sigh*)
It looks great! Let us know how the purrfect fence works out. A friend of our was looking into buying one, but he hasn’t so far…

Thanksgiving slowed things down abit, but we still got some more done. The trusses will be here Friday. They plan on working on the deck this week too.
My garden window is going in this end of the house, but it won’t be here for a few weeks, so they are leaving it open for now. It’s the only way in at this point. 🙂
The window that’s on the end of the house is going to be moved to this end.
Just thought I’d show some of the rock work that Russ has done so far. This will be continued all along the bank in back. It’ll probably that a few summers to finish it.
