Okay, I NEVER EVEN KNEW these existed but came across one by chance! I MUST HAVE THEM ALL! I LOVE THIS MOVIE! It’s kind of wrong for a kids flick in the sense there is alot of bunnies being killed in horrible ways and quite a bit of blood. A little too much for little kids to watch and still sleep comfortably at night, but it’s a classic!
I ended up watching it one day when I was working at Suncoast and a woman barged in the store screaming at me for having it in the kids section and selling it to her. She said her kids had nightmares and she whipped it at my chest and stormed out of the store. Naturally, I wanted to watch it =D
So here is the deal, similar to Watergazer and her ninja turtles, I am offering PYO services to anyone who can get their hands on these little guys. I have no idea how many are in the set or really what they are worth. They seem to be going to around 15 to 30 bucks on ebay, but I’m not too sure if that’s the usual price or not. It seems to be certain characters are worth more then others. I have to do a little more research.
I’m also not too sure what’s a fair trade, but at the moment I’m going to say any one for a free PYO painting of a PYO wolf, Ki-Rin, or Small Dragon. If you can get two then I will do a griffin. I’ve come to find that they are substancially more work then the other PYOs. The only catch is you need to supply the PYO which is a pretty good deal if you can snag one of these bunnies for 20 or 30 bucks. Then you can just ship them together to me and I will paint it and send it back to you. Even if they go up to 50 its still decent since my comissions start at roughly $100.
I DO want them in Mint condition. Box and papaerowrk aren’t necessary, but are a plus. I REALLY want Fiver, I’ll do a griffin for Fiver. He’s the scared looking one, covering his face. I can’t find any aution listings for him though.
Well, just thought I’d throw it out there =) If you find any auctions for them I missed & you can point me in their direction too I’d also appreciate it.

December 5, 2006 at 7:02 pm #514274Not to uh…. further the madness at all… but did you see these plates?
I did a search for “Royal Orleans” and found them….
Or this?
I know I saw in the movie in my elementary school class… but it’s been a loooooong time…
I believe that it CAN be a kid’s movie… you just have to, perhaps, talk to your kids about it… they are more intelligent that you think… but honestly… if you just leave them to watch something like that alone… of course they’ll have nightmares. 😛
That lady was just a lazy parent… period end. 😛 I hate people like that.
December 5, 2006 at 7:07 pm #514275I know, I saw those too when I was madly searching for other figures =) I want to eventually get some other things too, but for now I am keeping it simple and limiting myself to just the figurines. If I start collecting plates and stuffed animals I’ll have to have them all too, LOL!!!
Yea, the mom was a completely angry with me because she failed to check and see if the movie was fit for her child to begin with. The funny thing is that it is rated G so I suppose she wasn’t completely in the wrong. I mean, the book is about war, what was she expecting when the back of the case said it was as well. Whatever, I got a free movie out of it =)

Its a bit political. About a den of rabbits, and their leadership. I will find a synopsis for you.
Hope you dont mind, dragon.

I need to watch it! I read the book and really liked it.
December 5, 2006 at 9:03 pm #514280Yeah, I saw it as a kid and was scared to death by General Woundwort. I had nightmares about him! But I loved it anyhow. I’ve read the book about a million times.
December 5, 2006 at 10:03 pm #514281AnonymousIt was a class reading project for me in like Grade 5 or 6… never have seen the film though.
I have read it again in more recent years… it seems to be staple reading material nowadays.
December 6, 2006 at 1:59 am #514282I loved that book, and the movie.
There’s a sequel out…a collection of short stories that continues the saga. It’s kinda nice.
“Tales from Watership Down”
Windstone collector in remission. 😉
December 6, 2006 at 5:18 am #514283I got the Tales collection. It was interesting, but it seemed to be a bit heavily loaded with environmentalist propaganda. I am definitely in favor of saving the environment and protecting endangered species, but I don’t think it helped the stories very much, it was a little too much like reading a pamphlet and not enough like reading fiction.
