EDIT: New PYO Griffin is FINISHED! He’s on Page 2.
Uhm…it’s been a LOOOOONG time since I painted a PYO piece. Uhm. Yeah.
So, this piece is a surprise gift for a friend, and based (mostly) on his online character. I did the wings as I saw fit as his “wolf” character doesn’t have wings. 🙂 Hopefully he’ll like it.
Anyhoo, I’d appreciate some constructive comments if you’re so inclined. 🙂 Thanks!

Pics are in the Gallery, too.
He was painted using a combination of Golden acrylics and miniature (D&D) model paints…and lots of tiny brushes! 🙂

September 28, 2008 at 3:44 pm #730372I like the wings on the wolf.
The griffin is pretty too. Still, to be perfectly honest – forgive me – he’s a bit busy with the various black markings. There’s no solid color sector on him, and I think the eye needs a “resting place.”
Just my opinion. I really love his head.September 28, 2008 at 4:57 pm #730373Aargh! The sun washes out most the white 🙁 so it seems I can’t get the right overall impression…
