And is by any chance hosted or have their domain name through registerfly.com, please be aware ICANN rejected their Accreditation, and they are kicking the bucket as of March 31st :X Ugh, what a nightmare.

I just transferred over to a new host which has a good deal for “refugees” from registerfly.

I just got done downloading my site to put it back up soon.

$2500 per year per top level registration. Keeps every tom, dick and harry from setting up as a registrar.

If you want to offer .com, .net and .org domains, that’s $7500 out of your pocket up front! Then you have to try and nickel and dime your way into making it back.

I have a nice corporate setup through DomainPeople, I doubt I will ever become my own registrar.

My site is through Yahoo.com. It’s basic, but it works for me. 😉

I have a geocities (now yahoo) and a fortunecity site. Free and basic. Just means I don’t have my own domain name and I don’t mind that one bit.
