I’m delighted that the baby sloat says “Skeek!” “Skeek” is a noise my dragon characters make, too.

My art: featherdust.com“SKEEK” -imagine the sound a kitchen chair makes when you are sitting on it and shove it backwards… that screeching skeek sound that myna birds imitate so well.
I am loving all the Sloat pages! I think a Sloat or baby Sloat would make a lovely pebble animal 😉

Oh my gosh the Sloats look even more amazing when sculpted! I hope and hope and wish and dream and wish and hope and dream some more that these guys are made one day soon! Imagine all the colour types.. grab bag sloats.. PYO sloats.

Why is it strange to argue about bizarre religious beliefs, while being besieged by sloats in a fireworks storm? Seemed normal to me. Maybe it was the Nyquil.Wow – removing the words from page 4 REALLY makes a difference in the overall effect! Melody says, “Looks like they are in an aquarium. This page is prettier without words.” I think she’s right.
