Ok so my $.02 says that if he hasn’t just taken someone else’s pic’s(wether he has the pieces or not), he’s physically stolen somebody else’s collection, and that’s why he doesn’t know about the fact that there should be a letter of Autenticity, and the actual status of the OW. I mean would you neccesarrily keep that letter out for it to get damaged by the elements, or possibly still in it’s origional envelope in a safe place. And then again if he stole them he wouldn’t neccessarily been intelligent enough to have known about those framed letters and their importance!! 😛

He does list the letter of authenticity in the auction. He just doesn’t show a picture of it. Maybe he’s not familiar with the word “prototype” as being an important piece of information.

Let’s not start accusing people of stealing. This is a public forum, after all.

Not exactly. 😕 Slowing down might help the dyslexia though, shouldn’t it? I wonder… hmm…

🙁 Unfortunately it usually makes mine worse!! My mind can sort of fill in the blanks when I speed, but it can’t seem to grasp so much when I slow down!! 🙁 Sigh, can’t win can I? 😀 So I guess I just have to be happy!!

That’s too bad. You have the right attitude about it though! 😀

Glad someone else thinks so too!!
I learned how to read and read umm well, early and overcome the Dislexia to annoy the hell out of my cousin!! We were raised similar to Siblings, but He had all the comincs and was actually diagnosed hard core Dislexic when we were little. So I learned to read, and read fairly well just to be able to read his comics on long car rides!! 😈

                  “Mom she’s touching my Comics”
“Let her she knows how to be nice to them.”
“But I want to read them”
“You can’t read them, she can, let her!”
                  “But, But, But…”
“Let someone who knows how to read, read the bloody books!!”

                  😈 😈 😈

I have yet to have anything terrible go wrong with anything I bought. I have had 2 out of countless pieces broken, but minor damage anyway. I don’t deal with people I don’t trust, or if it looks a little fishy. I have yet to leave or recieve a negative feedback. Only one time did I have a problem concerning a MO…It got straightened out, but it was a frustrating experience. And next time I have to send anything over there, I am doing it in a box, and airmail. 👿 😈 😆 😆 😆 😆
I suppose if I ever got ripped off on ebay, I would have to drive to the address they give me and beat the everloving crap out of them. How is that for an explaination? HAHAHAHA 8)

(All my LOA’s are in my binder in the picture section of my book I am still currently working on, that I will NEVER catch up on…Poor Melody, I complain about trying to catch up with all releases and she has to make them! 😐 )
(Ooops…I didn’t say they DO NOT have holes punched into them, I sitll have all the envelopes, and they are in plastic sleeves.)

Reading owns me 🙁 I swear I thought I read that auction listing but then again I’ve been awake too long. I need some sleep.

the person said there was no gap between the head and the wings. unlike most of you, i cannot tell from looking at it that it was a prototype.

anyway, that is what the person said.

                      #579742

It has the scratches on the chest and the extra damage on the belly, which defines it, as far as I know, as a prototype. That damage was removed the production sculpt. We could ask Melody about the numbering… Or the seller for a better pic of the head/wings.

It looks like a prototype to me. I didn’t think the prototype peacocks and emeralds were numbered, they were just signed and came with a letter of authenticity. And it does look like Melodys signature. I don’t understand what the problem is. I’d bid on it if I was interested.

I would bid, too. I see nothing wrong with the auction.

I don’t even own a paypal account, so if someone only takes paypal, I miss out on it! But o’well. I am not however interested in 10 pieces I can get for much less than 1,299.00, especially not packed into 2 boxes. I don’t care how big they are. 🙄

Normally, I would agree with your comments, but you don’t have to use your credit card on-line to get the info stolen. If anyone you use your credit card with keeps their info on the internet/server (or even if they don’t but have untrustworhty employees), your credit info could be compromised. I think going with a third party like Paypal is one way to keep from too many people having your info, but ultimately they could get hacked too. My $1.05 worth.
