yay you! i should have reserved a flame one a while ago. oh well, i can wait. i will not die.

on a happy note, my advisor gave me a tentative date for my proposal presentation/defense: the week of july 13!

i am soo happy, it is hard to work now. this is my contribution to the celebration. 😀

Gee….I REALLY hope I get that job!!! LOL! *waiting to hear back about a drug test* I’m so sure I’ll pass though I went on a celebration spree =) So yea, I got the Male Wolf Griffin, the Hyena Gargoyle and a Bat Cat Gargoyle all today! LOL! I hope they all find there way to my new address.

i am proposing my plan for my disertaion. by july 13th i will hopefully have advanced to candidacy and be abd.
if none of this means anything to you, just know i am getting one step closer to graduating with a phd.

Talk about surprises . . . I walked into a shop today and found something I never thought I’d see sitting on a store shelf again: a Black Young Unicorn! He’s got a few small rubs, but I bought him anyway. Whee! He’s so cute! 😀 I love the big dark eyes and the mealy muzzle on those guys. It makes them look so earnest: “No, really, I want to be part of your collection. Honest!”

Congrats everyone on their recent finds of retired pieces. I just got the shipment notification of my Black Griffin. Squee! Shipped out USPS priority mail (with insurance) from Texas to Georgia. It says it should take 2-3 days. That means he could be here by Saturday!
