You ever want to sell that tabby, Ski, you let me know. 😀 He looks just like my Merlin, except he should have horns growing out of his head instead of angel wings.
September 27, 2007 at 5:44 pm #576632Beautiful kitties, Ski!
Congrats on your new goodies, everybody! 😀

I also purchased the last Leaf Cat Sconce today from Windstone store…one more to make room for 🙄
You got yours already? I’m still waiting for my flap cat. (I thought the shipping was a little high…)
Did you get your from the same seller? I’m in Quebec Canada near the Ontario border that would explain why I got it so fast. Where are you located? US?
The shipping that I was charged was $25.50 and the actual cost to ship was $12something. but it was worth it….that package was well protected and double boxed or should I say triple? But I agree it was hight…I might mention it, but I’m really satisfied with the transaction.Yours was double boxed? 😕 Mine came today. Wrapped in thin paper, almost like tissue paper (just a bit thicker) with lots of packing chips. I’m so glad I’m in Ontario and not in the states. I don’t think he would have made it. Oh well, he’s beautiful. And she said she would ship it even before I paid. (I paid about two hours after I got the invoice.) My shipping was $20 and it cost her alittle over $12. Thats okay though. I’m just glad he’s here. Yes I do believe it’s the same seller.

Is your user id one of these: purplerose750, mvanesch? If it is then yes it came from the same seller. I had sent the Packaging Tutorial to this seller to make sure they knew how. And it paid off
September 28, 2007 at 12:10 am #576636Congrats Ski 🙂 . The tabby is really cool.

I asked about shipping differences once and was told they charged more for the supplies and time it took to get the item ready to ship which was something I had never thought of. I need to start thinkg that way if I’m going to try and start selling on e-baySeptember 28, 2007 at 2:44 am #576638Dragon Master wrote:I asked about shipping differences once and was told they charged more for the supplies and time it took to get the item ready to ship which was something I had never thought of. Only thing is with the new rate the seller system that ebay introduced in addition to the feedback you can get slammed on your “Shipping and Handling Charges” rating if you charge too much. I know if I win something off eBay and then when it arrives I find out the shipping was a lot less than what I actually payed I lower that rating down. What you can do instead is state up front that you have a set handling cost (mine is $.75 to cover delivery confirmation) so the buyer knows about it upfront.

My briman (and brown coiled mamma) got here today. My first “eyes open” flap cat. I really like them with their eyes open. They look more real. Th colors on the cat are better than I expected, too. What a beauty. The brown coiled mamma is more vibrant than I expected, too. I love them both! My pink curlie should be here next week! I cant wait for that one!!
How’d I miss this? Great pic!
September 28, 2007 at 10:17 pm #576640I found this today at a store in Albuquerque-
The felt and tag are a little beat up like it’s been sitting there for a while, but other than that it’s mint. :3 How rare are these? Are they still in production? (lol sorry, I just started collecting so I don’t know much about them other than the dragons XD)
September 28, 2007 at 10:42 pm #576641They are retired. 😀
September 28, 2007 at 10:46 pm #576642I just bought a peacock oriental sun dragon, a male kirin, and a large siamese flapcat off of ebay! They were all hidden auctions (same seller)! 😀

$7.00 for a used box, tissue paper, and used packing chips. Worth every penny. (Sorry, I’ve had a bad day.)September 28, 2007 at 10:54 pm #576644KMD4me wrote:I just bought a peacock oriental sun dragon, a male kirin, and a large siamese flapcat off of ebay!
