Hmm, you would think that the shipping company would try and contact the person and if there was more money that was owed then the buyer would pay for it.
Nope. I had a package one time from an eBay auction that went to my old address even though I had moved and filled out the change of address card (eBay had the address wrong and the seller did not send it to the one I specified when I paid him). It ended up going back to him and neither he nor the shippiing company contacted me about it. I ended up getting a full refund from the seller because I no longer needed the item.

hmm, well at least you got your refund for it. Where O where has customer service gone?July 6, 2007 at 11:12 pm #576048It didn’t help at the time that eBay recorded your address in several different places. I don’t remember if they still do or not. it just happened that the one place I didn’t know/think to check to be sure the address was right was the place that provided him the address for shipping.
I’ve had several times now where I’ve included a note on my paypal payment and the seller has ignored the information found there. I guess I should have contacted them through eBay to be sure they got the comment, but you’d think they would look at any special comments left when someone pays them. I know I look for them.

Yeah, that is usally where I leave my packing instructions…but sometimes they do get missed. I think it is because they don’t read the email paypal sends them. All they have to do is look at the subject and then go from there.July 7, 2007 at 12:43 am #576050These are my latest goodies!
July 7, 2007 at 5:34 am #576051Very pretty. It looks like they are the darker white.

July 7, 2007 at 11:30 pm #576055Wow, nice catches, wolflodge! They’re lovely.
I bought a VF1 curlie and a Rock Dragon from the Windstone E-Store this morning. I feel kind of bad about getting the Rock Dragon from the factory instead of from a dealer, but it was almost $10 shipping for just the little curlie, and combined with the big Rock Dragon shipping was only $27. So, Rock Dragon being a must-buy on this trip anyway, I ordered it. I need to send it back by cargo with my other dragons, since shipping it by itself by USPS is more than $100. 😯
July 7, 2007 at 11:33 pm #576056wow! $100.00 shipping! Thats crazy 😆
July 7, 2007 at 11:51 pm #576057Emerald let me know ot was $124 – before the price increase. I don’t even want to know what it is now.
I must say though – shopping for Windstones is so great when the shipping doesn’t add 30% to the cost!July 9, 2007 at 9:14 pm #576058Here’s what I got over the past couple days!
And here’s the neato drawings on my certificates. I like when these are shared 😀
July 9, 2007 at 10:11 pm #576059Aw, cute griffin chick and thanks for posting the drawings. I love the bright green on the spectral.
