congrats on yoru puechase but if we tried to put all e-bay winnings in one thread they would be lost when the topic got too long just like the show your Windstone threads don’t you think??

Actually, I think having the thread has more advantages then disadvantages. Instead of everyone posting when they bought something then we could have this one and it will be in one place then having to go look for a thread and try to remember what it was called.

I have felt this and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that has gotten excited and been scolded for talking about a purchase too much.
If each person has a topic of their own they can brag or comment all they want and no one can touch them since it is their topic. I almost left the Forum completely a couple months ago when I won the SK and took all the flack I did since I was so excited to win and was at home alone when I won herI’m not going to force anybody to post here!
But look at it this way, DM. If somebody doesn’t want to hear everbody bragging, now they won’t have to try and figure out which topics are bragging topics and avoid them, they’ll just have to avoid this one thread.
LIke you posted a thread titled “YEAH!” Until I go and look at that thread, I won’t know what it’s about. I won’t know if you’re bragging because you won another Secret Keeper, or if it’s something else entirely.
But if all the bragging happens here, and I know what this thread is for, then when I’m feeling broke and angry because I lost an auction, I’ll just not check this thread until I calm down, and then I won’t say anything rude to somebody.
I hear you. I have no idea what to do becasue Melody said she LOVES to hear us brag. I jsut think each person should get that little time in the spotlight and I’m thinking about how lost everything would get as the topics would grow longer then the show you Windstone topics have gotten.Plus in a way that limits peoples free speech, well sort of. I like the way this froum is free and once you start putting rules on what can be posted or where it takes some of that freedom away in my opinion. I don’t know, I do not think I will EVER attempt to brag about anything anymore anyway
I don’t think people mind when someone is bragging it is when it comes up a lot is when they do mind.

DM, you posted your glee under topics that had nothing to do with your win. They were other peoples topics about other things. Thats why people got annoyed. Folks are still gonna post new brag topics and you can too. Just dont go into other topics and brag if you have already started a thread about it. You know what I mean?
Sadly… I have not won anything in the last week. Woe is me 🙁 😛
