Yeah, let’s see the pics….
I would also like to see when the person who bought the Green Emperor gets him….how he holds up with shipping????? My prediction is that he will be broken….probably badly, though I would wish differently.
I had bid $250 and retracted my bid because of lack of communication!
I also reported the situation to Ebay….

For one, do auctions labled with “Pena” really count as that hidden?? Windstones turn up under that search fairly reliably…
For another, if those WERE weebean’s auctions, shouldn’t they be able to post them here?? If I were the seller and I discovered via a thread like this that my auctions were “hidden,” I would sure as heck want them to get a bit more publicity…
For a third…maybe I’m not finding all of weebean’s posts…but aside from the “bad lighting” bit, I’m not seeing anything terribly rude…?
….maybe I’m missing something huge, but it just seems like a normally very nice group of people is coming down unnecessarily hard on someone…I MUST be missing something if Nam is threatening banning… 1. IMO, yes, they count as hidden. I think anything without Windstone in the title or description counts as hidden. 2. If she wanted to post her links, fine, no problem. Do it in your own thread in the flea market, Not mine please, since I obviously didnt want to give them away. I really would have had no problems if she came on, made a topic announcing her auctions, and left. Hell, I would have suggested she put Windstone in the description. 3. The comments she made are nothing more that 5 replies so she can post links. That is it. No comments that can be construed as anything but trying to get enough posts to post links of the auction. Not rude, perse… just spam. I dont want to come across as being rude, but I do want to show my irritation with the whole situation.
I am only irritated because the auction had a bid on it and she pulled it (Assuming weebeans is the seller) to sell to someone else, for about $250. Yes, I know who it went to, and yes, they are a forum member.
Also, weebeans, if those are your auctions, disclose the damage, cus the pics you sent me had several of them chipped in several places, and yet you told me they were all MINT. I will post the pics myself when I get home if anyone is interested.
So he sold for only around $250.00, wow she for sure could have gotten more for him if she didn’t pull the auction off…I would like to see the pics also ski if you don’t mind because I weas going to place a bid for $300.00 if he went up that high, oh well 🙂

I think they usually go for around $500 or more…Even for a baddly chipped one, I would pay at least $300, though.

-J R R TolkienAugust 18, 2007 at 2:49 am #607708Average for a mint Green Emperor since Oct. 2006 is $456.15 with the low being $255 and the high being $549.99. There were only 6. There were only two recorded non-mint Green Emperors in that same time frame: $250 and $345.
August 18, 2007 at 2:10 pm #607709Thanks, pegasi. They go less than I expected – but still more than $250.
August 18, 2007 at 3:09 pm #607710If anyone wants pics, just email me. Its taking too long to save them to my computer then load them to photobucket. You can PM me your email addy, or just email me, and I will copy and paste and forward them to you. 🙂 skigod377 at yahoo.
August 19, 2007 at 2:20 pm #607711Okay, thanks.
September 6, 2007 at 11:06 am #607712Well, I may have been upset about the emp for a little while, but let me tell you that I am totally stoked about the wizards I bought. She said they were mint, but didnt have the boxes or certificates. They show up today, both MINT, and BOTH in ORIGINAL boxes WITH the certificates of Authenticity and the cardboard cover that separates it. They are PERFECT! I just cant believe it. And both are relatively low numbers!
The emperor arrived safe, also, though it has some paint chips that were not mentioned. Still a good deal for the buyer. 😉 YAY!
Dang…. now I am having a hard time deciding which one I want to keep 😆
September 6, 2007 at 3:49 pm #607713Well that is good. Are you gonna leave her positive feedback? And that sucks about the paint chips, but at least it arrived in one peice.

Sure. She didnt do anything bad to me and she is a new ebayer. Her comms, packing, and description (In this case) were spot on.
