Fallen is quite handsome looking. I really like the way the metallic green was used. And that red is such a nice deep shade. Really does remind me of east coast autumn colors. 🙂

There is some incredible detail on this piece–I had asked for a forest in mist–something mysterious and I feel that Branzyboo nailed it. She told me that her son’s response was it looked like a mystic Chinese garden–it does look Oriental to me as well and I like Oriental things.
I hope my pictures did some justice to this piece–it is absolutely beautiful in person. Thanks again, Branzyboo for painting me such a beautiful sculpt! 😀

I’m still waiting for mine to arrive (I’m in Canada too) and my swap has yet to say anything about the piece I did for them or if they have even gotten it. (Canada Post says it’s been at their house for days. :/ I am getting very worried!) As soon as I get mine I’ll be taking pictures! 😀 I’m very much looking forwards to it, since I kind of gave a lot of free reign haha so I have NO idea of what I am getting! (I had no idea what the heck I wanted/didn’t want to stifle any creativity haha.)

You have no idea how thrilled I am that he finally arrived and in one piece it seems! Dragonmedley was absolutely amazing at helping me out and being the go between so the swap surprise wasn’t ruined while we worked out the shipping mishap! I can’t thank her enough for all the help!!!!
When I found out UPS had ‘corrected’ the original “invalid” shipping address, and then once I FINALLY got a live person at ups to tell me what they ‘corrected’ it to, I was so freaked. They had changed the house number, street, even the zipcode! Told them I didn’t know who they thought they’d found in the phonebook that the corrections were based on, but it obviously wasn’t the right person. They supposedly fixed the address back to the correct one, but next thing I got was a tracking update saying “delivered to porch” & 2 minutes later a second notice about the delivery intercept and corrected address…nothing after that to say where it actually ended up being delivered to. So you can imagine how VERY relieved i am that even though they still delivered it wrong, you did still get him and in one piece!
Now I can finally breath and its just an entertaining story. 😀 I really hope you love him…he is a really strong willed bird! Or maybe cat… He refused the softer, more neutral color scheme I had planned and even started with and before I knew it, he was wearing such a colorful coat of color…he’s very independently minded. LOL! :bigsmile:
