I paint them and then I wait a long time before I decide if I want to sell them or not. I don’t want to have any regrets. I think at the moment I’ve sold two, kept five, and given one away.
I have sold most of mine. Some I hate to sell and some I would pay someone to take(jk). I have 1 dragon, 2 griffs, 3 muses and 1 kirin in my collection now that are mine. The dragon needs some more work, the 2 griffs I will not sell because I love them, the ki rin I’m not sure about because it may be too close to that copper/blk kirin sold on ebay a while ago…and the muses are all mine. I want a hoard of muses, enough to have thier cute little faces poking out all over the house 😀 I love ’em, what can I say? 😕
I’ve only sold one, but I’ve tried with more then one.
I’ve also given a couple of gifts too (my brother loved the one he got for Christmas. The reaction was… “….. WOW. ….. Just, WOW.”)

I was just thinking…Does it count as peices you sold if someone else got them in trades and then sold them to other forum members? If it does then I guess 3 of them sold. 😆

He he, if that is true, then I think I can go up a notch or two in the sold category as well 😆
Oh I don’t mind that people sold them. But I like knowing who ends up with them in the end. 😳 Emerald ended up with one, and, I think 2Huberts got the blue and purple one I did for Frozen…(It is nice to have fans. 😀 )
I have pages of ideas for more too! 😈I voted for “keep them all” because there is no option for keep some and swap some. I’ve tried to sell some of mine, but no one has ever bought them, so I still have them unless I painted for the PYO swap.
I keep all of mine 🙂 Maybe if I learned how to paint well I might want to do a swap, I love everyone elses pieces!
I’ve only painted 4; 2 for the swaps and 1 a piece for the boys. I have a naked dragon sitting here and I’ll prolly do it up for myself… I don’t know if I’m good enough to sell ’em 🙂

Man, I can relate. I have lists to. My Keeper list alone is over two pages long 😈 . I don’t think there is enough hours in my lifetime left to paint all of the PYOs I want to 😆 .
I tend to keep the misfits that dont get sold, so I’ve ended up keeping a few. the only pyo I’ve kept intentionally for myself was the grey sabino unicorn I painted. I needed a uni in my collection. 🙂
i am also an all of the above,i have only kept one so far the first piece i painted,i have painted a few as gifts and i do have a few fans that have bought more than one piece from me,i really like the swaps as it’s fun to swap for others work,and like i told friends and family i will pass from this world one day but my name will still be floating around on the bottoms of a bunch of pyo’s XD
I chose ‘sell and keep’ though, well, I’ve only done 2. 😳
The 1st I made as a gift but ended up selling because the recipient didn’t seem all too taken with it. The second I made just for me.
I have more ideas, both as gifts and probable ‘to sells’, but don’t have any blanks or money to buy them so it’s just as well. Plus, I want a keeper for me!
(hey, wait, there’s that blank griffin PYO I got my husband for Christmas a year ago, he still hasn’t done anything with it. I don’t have griffin ideas, but… Or I could sell it and get a dragon maybe…)Edit purpleturtle I wanted to tell you how gorgeous that Scratch you have on eBay is!
