Hardly, Snap. My comment was directed at DM, not at guys in general. Sheesh, if I had four sisters instead of four brothers I’d be miserable! I like having guys around.

I like having my brothers around because they’re handy, as in, “Löchen, my bike’s spring is creaking and it drives me nuts. Fix it, will you?”I grew up female-presence deprived, no sisters, no female cousins. Holiday get togethers were just a slug fest… the best game was go into the empty bedroom, turn off the lights and start swinging.

In my family we’re two girls to five guys but we still believe in old traditions. Two is enough female presence to prevent slug fests.

I actually had those two for 10 years before I bought more. I really didnt know where or how to get them. I didnt even LOOK on the bottom till I moved here to Germany, and by then, it was too late to shop for some. Hence, my love of Ebay! Now I am making up for lost time.

Old traditions? The girls cook and clean not beat up the guys?
Actually yeah, cleaning the kitchen after meals is one of my household jobs. But what I meant was that for holiday events we have a nice sit-down, family time dinner.
Oh! Well of course we did too, the roughhousing was done after dinner.
I kinda miss those get togethers, but I understand how everyone just got old and can’t really travel anymore (my grandparents’ kin that is)
I have no idea what goes on on my … ‘fathers’ side of the family.. never have, never will, don’t care. That’s what you get for leaving me with a single parent.
