The Al-mi'raj

[Prezaurian]

I JUST learned about a mythical creature (thanks to the Skin Deep comic) called the Al-mi’raj and I wanted to share. It’s a unicorn horned rabbit!

It might make a good smooth pebble critter one day. Perhaps with a baby kirin’s horn.

Anyways, I thought it was neat to finally see WHAT all the horned rabbits in my Dragon Quest games were based on. 😀 It’s just a cool experience to find out the origin/background of something you’re familiar with. Gives it a whole new layer of meaning and depth. -laughs- Sorry, I’m geeking out and wanted to share.

It’s also possible the rabbit from ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail’ was based on this creature. SO cool!

😀 Some of the best games! The characters are so memorable. And they’re always bright and humorously lively. In a lot of ways much more fun than the more…angsty? Final Fantasy characters. Though I enjoy them too.
