hey hey heres a new fella a little different from what i normally do.. i call the color black magic… violet and purple brushed over black. his eyes are orange with a purple stone…hopefully y’all don’t think looks too close to the BVP OW. i was careful to make sure he was definitely different. there isn’t a wink of blue on him but the pics like to make his violet look blue, but the darker areas are very violet /purple, and he is antiqued all over in violet in the darker areas. he is accented in a dark gunmetal silver, on his wing ribs horns and claws. his dark areas-body texture-are a definitely a bit blacker in person; his face in the first pic is the most realistic. those areas have a subtle shine of violet in person basically.boy i wish photos were more accurate! that makes me nutty cuz he is quite black! hmmmm. i may try a casual desk shot for more accuracy in that body tone.
i have plans for him to be put on ebay for tomorrow night….overall i am so happy i finally got to paint him, as i wanted to do one like this for so long! squee! ok, pics!

[/img]lol! glad y’all like! i may not put him up til friday night, i’m getting dragged out to family stuff tomorrow so i might not get the time to put him up tomorrow, plus i want to get that casual desk shot to show how black he really is. i’d feel better that way, as ebay always seems to further lighten the pics i post on there.
i plan to do one similar to this but in deep reds and more gunmetal once my new pyos arrive! woo hoo! i have a bunch of other neat ones 90% done, but never get a chance to fully finish the tricky spots on them! my desk is chaos with impatient pyos! this fella is such a naughty boy- all dark n devious! yup, next thing is the desk shot for sure, he is so black in person! ack!!!! the flash lit up the shiny sealant on the high points, making him look so light, thats what happened! hmmmm. off to bed for now, i’m bushed!
