I am in absolute love with the indigo color! – I just saw the mother dragon in the ebay shop, and I’m it’s true love! lol.. the gold accents with those gorgeous blues are heaven!
So I just wanted one place where those who really wanna see this color go into production, can squeak for it.. maybe enough votes and it’ll make it??
January 20, 2012 at 12:28 am #869784SQUEAK! SQUEAK! SQUEAK! SQUEAK! I vote yes for sure! I absolutely LOVE the Indigo!! It’s a stunning sapphire blue and the depth and brilliance takes my breath away.
January 20, 2012 at 12:40 am #869789You can count on my SQUEAK!
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

January 20, 2012 at 1:37 am #869798Oh yes! Squeak Indigo!!! 😀
January 20, 2012 at 1:40 am #869800The more I see this color the more I like it. That OW on Ebay is particularly lovely.
January 20, 2012 at 2:05 am #869803Squeak,squeak! I like the indigo better than anything in the store right now! More please!
January 20, 2012 at 2:14 am #869804It’s pretty but too similar to peacock for production IMO…

I agree with you! This is the first Mother dragon I’ve seen that grabs away from my love of Peacock mother! (Peacock is still my fave, but Indigo has quickly snatched 2nd love!) – I also think it’s looked amazing in all sculpts it’s been on, and would look amazing on any sculpt it could go on!

Second this.
January 20, 2012 at 2:52 am #869810It is less similar to peacock than emerald peacock is.
January 20, 2012 at 3:02 am #869811Really? I think em pea looks nothing like peacock, but when I saw the indigo mother I thought it WAS peacock.
January 20, 2012 at 3:04 am #869812Either way, I may be finally able to paint an emperor tomorrow. That is, if I need and can acquire a canoe to come into the factory. 😉

Agreed.
I really don’t see the similarity that others see. The only similarity (to me) is same general direction of color pallet, which I think should be brought back in *something* for those of us who favor that direction of color… Peacock was a mix of purple with some blue and green, as this is straight blue tones… Peacock also displayed its depth with the several colors, not in tones, as Indigo does… (I really hope that makes sense to someone other than myself, haha)
To me this is no different than the similarities of Gold and CP
and ohh, an Indigo Emp? That’s going to be a heartbreaker dragon 😉
January 20, 2012 at 3:22 am #869819I don’t think Peacock is much like the Indigo at all. I agree some of the Peacock pieces are more blue than others makinging them quite similar to the Indigo, but a true Peacock has the definate presence of the green and violet where the Indigo is deeply and dazzlingly blue.
I cant wait to see the Emperor! If it comes to the canoe… remember to wear a life vest we definately DO NOT want to lose you!!!
