Happy Spring everyone! The weather is finally sunny and warming up here and snow is melting after a cold snap for the last couple months where we had a couple feet of snow and -30 C weather.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
March 24, 2019 at 5:10 pm #1561972Happy spring! I’ve been lulled into thinking it’s actually spring, and even planted a few things. We’ll see if the weather holds or if we get a cold snap right before Mother’s Day like we usually do. XD
March 30, 2019 at 5:19 am #1562556I buried my heloved happy boy Brego,by my Azaleas I planted here a couple of years ago. They were scraggly little bushes my landlord didn’t want so I pulled them up,brought them home and waited to see what colors they would be.This year Brego has sent me more flowers and always will. They turned out pink, peach, and fushia.Last year I noticed they were being cross pollinated Look what they did this year.Too cool. Thanks Bre💕

Non-migratory sandhill cranes who brought last year’s babies to visit, they’re starting with this year’s brood even younger. I’m cautious of over 4 foot tall birds with beaks like that, but mom and dad seem totally blasé about us- they even came walking into the house one day last year when we had the door open and didn’t know they were around. such a wonderful sight. The babies will be hilarious in a couple weeks, he bodies stay the same for awhile but the legs shoot up to mom and dad’s length.
April 8, 2019 at 12:36 am #1563465Those cranes are so cute! And those flowers are so pretty Bodine! We don’t have any green grass or branches or flowers quite yet. Maybe next month.
