I just got back from a trip to Mexico, and saw this guy for sale at a flea market next to the docks in Cabo San Lucas. It was the only Windstone knockoff I saw, but is a very blatant one. Can they do anything about stuff being sold and/or produced in Mexico?

Oh sheesh. That’s obviously a male dragon copy.

I don’t get that really. I mean okay, you have no art talent, you take somebody else’s art and slap a mold on it and make direct copies. You know it’s not right, but you couldn’t make a real sculpture to save your life. But whoever made this obviously has some sculpting talent. Why did they have to copy? They could have so easily applied that talent to something original! Now they’re going to get in legal trouble for taking somebody else’s work and trying to profit from it, when they could quite obviously profit just fine from their own work! Is it just that people don’t realize it’s still copying if you re-sculpt your own version?
