I posted a pic of a few of the Hatching Pegasuses on my blog page.
The ones you posted look gorgeous. I can kinda see what you’re talking about on the egg, and I’m sure they were a bummer to paint, but you can always stick a “goof up” warning on them and people will know there are painting issues. I love the yellow one. Sorry these were such a pain to paint! If it’s a really small batch does it make sense to use them for ebay/store special items or is the GB easiest on you? I think what I’m trying to get across is, we all adore you and your work and you should definitely do whatever option causes you the least stress!
Seeking Test Paints & GBs ! Please get in touch if you'd trade/sell. I'll remove pieces from list by owner request
ANY Red Eyed Unis

Ponycorns: Golden Zebra and/or Spotted Skunk

Gothic - Mahogany
PEGS: Male Midnight Calico, Male Bloodstone, Mother Starlight Rain
DRAGONS: Male CoyoteApril 27, 2017 at 3:14 pm #1523569I think it makes them look more like real Easter eggs with the “defects.” Making eggs as a kid they were never all perfect 😉
April 27, 2017 at 3:37 pm #1523570Too bad the pegs were such a pain in the tailfeathers! However, I’ve come up with a way you can get back at all us never-satisfied fans–a PYO hatching griffin. Then WE can get headaches painting tiny feathers and splotchy eggs. (Hmm, I’ve just thought of a deep violet egg with gold filigree and crystals, baby grif is very pale violet with faint black and yellow markings.)
It's not hoarding if it's books!
Cat hair -- condiment and fashion accessory!April 27, 2017 at 7:08 pm #1523576Natasha and I were on the same wavelength about perhaps putting the pegs on ebay. That way people can see the pics and any possible “imperfections” beforehand – somehow I doubt it will stop many from bidding. 😉
April 27, 2017 at 8:05 pm #1523579Wow, your zebra fantasy pegs are just beautiful Melody!
Personally, to me the eggs are the least important component of the overall hatching Pegasus. An important element but not so much from the color/design aspect. I’m sure no matter how you paint them, they will be beautiful!
April 28, 2017 at 2:04 am #1523581I Luv luv luv these beautiful colored eggs !!
If you look at real chicken eggs, they are not ” perfect ” in colors:
Some have darker or lighter spots within the shells, some have speckles, some have streaks.
Personally I think it makes these eggs look more realistic.
And the pegs are all so beautiful and detailed!!
I hope I am fortunate enough to get one of these beautiful, unique Easter egg colored Hatching Pegasus!!
Warm Hugs Of EncouragementApril 28, 2017 at 3:00 pm #1523626The coloured pegasi are pretty. How many are there? I agree if there aren’t very many I would think it might be better to make them special or ebay pieces and then people can buy the ones they want that way, unless you do end up painting more.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!

May 2, 2017 at 12:03 pm #1523718Sorry they were so ill-behaved! Do you mean the fantasy ones will be a small GB or are you going to put them in the store as special items?
[/quote] A smallish grab bag. There are about fifty.
