One of the best menories is of stealing the downspout pipes and creating “waterslides” for hotwheels and any other toy that would fit down the pipe. Dad also build us a huge sandbox, a playhouse, let us dig/excavate in the garden and would make the best “slip ‘n slides” out of construction poly, a couple of tent pegs and the garden hose.:D As kids we used to live outside in the summer and even most of the winter!

No. My Grandfather(British) worked on oil rigs for BP petroleum. He was stationed in Burma when my uncle was born. I believe, the uncle in question is a bit of a hermit, that he still has citizenship cause he was born there. Dad lived in alot of interesting places growing up and has lots of interesting stories!
wel growing up it was HOTWHEELS.My best friend lived right next door and we would hot wheels and tag on oru bikes in his backyard until his dogs started fighting for some reason and once he pinned me in the corner and I flew over my handle bars and landed cracking my chin on the cracked and raised concrete. I still can not grow whiskers on the scar. We used to also play tackle where whoever had the ball was it and everyone else had to tackle that person then they would toss teh ballin the air for someone else to be it. I loved board games as a kid and still do. We would have marathon Monopoly games and Life games. I think we used to just start over on Life and see how much money we could get. I LOVE chess too but have not played in YEARS!!
Thanks Star! 🙂 I have been having some issues as of late. All I got to say about that is I HATE FORDS!!! And my work is crazy. I don’t mean its not simple, but my bosses are at war, and the family seems almost totally bazonkers! 😡 I don’t have enough money to hang out here anymore (My habit has a will of it’s own when listening to everyone else’s finds…”Spend, spend, spend says the evil little fairy” 😆 ) . 😉 But, it WILL get better. And for everyone else, if I offended you in the last couple weeks I had been posting, I am truly sorry. I should have kept my trap shut. 😳 (Friggin stress…Melody, I just don’t know how you do it. Unless it is a release to create those beauties. Then, I understand.)
