what you men Organ? so now are are talking about the size of an Organ??? heheheSeptember 14, 2007 at 9:48 pm #616385My mom told me that my stuffed animal toys came alive at night. She said that if I watched them long enough in the dark, they’d think I was asleep, and I could see them move. Sure enough! They did!…after my eyes became fatigued enough. She would sometimes come in my room after I was asleep and do things, like place objects in their paws that weren’t there the night before. It is fun to mess with your kids’ heads.

They have personality, all right. Years ago I wrote a short story about how my – at the time very few – dragons came alive on Christmas Eve night, the one time when animals traditionally are able to talk…That’s such a neat idea. I’d like to read it too.
Oof – now I have to go digging through my archive… ๐

So Melody, what kind of toys did you grow up with? ๐

So Melody, what kind of toys did you grow up with? ๐Herds of Breyers, and non-cutesie stuffed animals. No dolls at all,:P except trolls.
I mostly made my own toys! Not because I was lacking in real ones (I was totally spoiled), but because we had allot of fun doing it. My best friend and I made herds of aluminum foil horses and cowboys and indians, we had villages, and forts.. ahh nice. I probably still have them somewhere…September 16, 2007 at 7:13 pm #616397What kind of toys did you folks play with?
September 16, 2007 at 7:29 pm #616398I had the Breyer horses too. I probably had Barbie dolls, but I remember more playing with my Tonka trucks: the wrecker and the car with the changeable fender, the pick up truck with the horse trailer and horses, the moving van type horse trailer.
I had bunches of little horses. I used to keep them in a totebag that I made in a sewing class in Junior High school. Wow, talk about resurrecting old memories. Makes me want to digging around through old boxes to find them.
