My home is Berea, nice small art town with alot of rolling hills. I love it, especially since I’m still close enough to lexington to shop or visit the horses. Right now I’m trying to start up a business of selling my art. Hope to be getting my first color art print run in about six more weeks. I’m selling off some off my rarer stones and breyers(too attached to my dragons) to raise some of the printing fee(it’s a whopping 2000). Want to illustrate my own children’s books too. Gonna try my artist prints on ebay first however, once I get them printed. Any suggestions?
Ohh! Ohh!! I think Water illustrates childrens books!?? Is it Water? *Tries to rememeber* its in the general art topic…

Is it just me, or are the legs on that horse a bit short? (not to crit this fellow’s work or anything, I just wondered if it was simply my eyes going bad!)

I’m pretty sure it is Water.
March 6, 2007 at 4:52 pm #540320I probably will(post new topic), although I kind of added it on as an afterthought. Still kind of nervous about actually putting my stuff out there. Oh, the horse’s legs are fairly proportionate but the camera angle isnt so great. Oh and he’s got teeny tiny spots/dapples all over his torso and neck that remind me of raindrop specks. Anyone know how they got that effect?

It’s actually a large egg with some transparent dichroite glass in a spiral in the center. I have a friend who did all the pieces in the pic. Male black rainbow just came in today and I’m just smitten over him. Thanks so much for the help, I’m trying to become a little more computer literate.
Sweet, from what I can see of it…it is pretty.
March 6, 2007 at 5:14 pm #540322gonna try pictures again, lets see if I was just lucky last time.
this is the egg
Here’s my favorite piece, it looks like a ball of blue fire to me:
here’s a close up of the horse torso

No, but it looks pretty cool in your close up picture. Maybe one of our model horse painters on the forum would know how they do it.

The Griffin doesn’t look like he minds babysitting. You need to get some paint on that PYO though. It’s naked. 😳
