Uhm. I do have to say I LOVE this forum and, while there is drama from time to time, it’s really one of *the* nicest discussion/collection forums online. (And some of the whining about money, at least on my part, is mostly good-natured grumbling. I know I’ve had to cut way back on eBay bidding, but that’s actually helped my collecing obsession a bit.) 🙂
Don’t have much else to say.
:hi: Got Pics? 🙂Every act matters. No matter how small💞

:hi: Got Pics? 🙂Of my collection? I guess I need to take new ones now that I’ve moved again, huh? 🙂
Windstone collector in remission. 😉
February 16, 2010 at 6:06 am #774657Yes, please do, Tyrrlin!
February 16, 2010 at 4:16 pm #774658Ok, sorry for those of you who can’t view these from work, but I don’t trust Photobucket anymore, and I have issues with Imageshack. It is so much easier for me to keep using my albums on Myspace as almost all my friends and family have it too. 🙂 But here are the latest photos I took, I will update them again once I have time, as a few more have been added.
Black Golds and Peacocks
My Gary Kinsella Castles (I sooooooo wish he was still making these for Windstone! *Puppy eyes*)
My golds, Silvers, Bep’s, Dinos and a couple of my Bookends
My Emerald’s and Brown’s (Sorry about the decapitation of the Riser, but I was trying to limit the count on photos, as it is hard to take pics of them all.)
My Miscellaneous pieces, Flappers, Cherubs, Poads, etc…
Some of my Gargoyles and Candlelamps.
My Green’s and Rubies, with one lowly Red Fire Fledgling
My Griffins and Uni’s (The black male and mother are under repair…They were missing quite a few chunks out of them. Garage sale find, $.50 each. 😮 Another of my son’s finds. How in the heck do I keep missing them then?!?!)
More Gargoyles and my Oriental collection (Currently in the works for an update.)
My whites, and then all my little Curlies who don’t have families yet, and my pink Lap (I love her! and I am not a big pink person!)
More Gargoyles and Candlelamps and my Wizards
More in the Living room
And here is the latest pic I took of my Army…
There are a bunch of them that aren’t in the pics here. Atleast 4 that haven’t even made it out of their boxes in the past year and a half, and a couple more shelves of them in the Living room.
February 16, 2010 at 5:40 pm #774659WOW! 😮 I’ll take your leftovers 😆 It might be easier to ask which ones you don’t have 😆
Now THAT’S what I call a collection! Mine is so very small but growing. 🙂Every act matters. No matter how small💞

February 16, 2010 at 7:09 pm #774661wow!! i can only hope to have a fraction of what you have someday. lol.. thanks for posting!
February 16, 2010 at 9:05 pm #774662I’ve been doing this since the Dragons first hit the store though…You have to remember that! And yeah, while it seems to be getting rather largish, I have a 2 page list of things I sure would like to add to it. I just can’t right now. There have been years since 1987 that I haven’t gotten a single one. But then years I made up for that. And, I know it isn’t the biggest here. Maybe we should start a vote poll to see how many Windstones collectors have…I bet there’s some out there that have me buried by a landslide.
But thank you for the wonderful comments! I love my collection! My next biggest collection around here are DVD’s. 😆February 16, 2010 at 11:37 pm #774663Those are some gorgeous browns! That’s next on my want list. The brown male was the first Windstone I ever saw… been a fan ever since! 🙂
February 16, 2010 at 11:43 pm #774664Love the way you display the orientals! All those slinky curves! 🙂
What a magificent collection!
February 17, 2010 at 2:26 am #774665I LOVE your brown mother! She has such great saturation of pigment; think she’s the prettiest brown mother I’ve seen.

Yeah, she is an oldie but a goodie! I got both the male($56.23 inc. Shipping) and mother($62.50 inc. shipping) on ebay. I used to buy alot of Windstones from ebay until they went and made it a paypal only zone… 😡 The hatchling is actually one of the older ones. He had no felt and just the Windstone stamp, but that was before the website was no more than the opening page with a phone number, saying that the site would be up soon. 😆 And I had no clue that they were supposed to be that way, and I didn’t want him scratching up everything. I only paid $15 for him including shipping. I’m talking about eh…2002-2003 “ish”. The guy I got them from actually got them out of a storage unit that belonged to one of his customers, who one day called him up and said to just get rid of all the stuff in there. 😮 I wish the guy would have had more in there when he told the guy to clean it out.
I just love Windstones, and I would give any broken or shattered one a good try to fix and add to them. 😉 Top of my list is the rest of the Orientals (I’ve finally decided to try to add the Peacock ones too…After all these years later, when I could have just got them in the stores around here. LOL) and an elusive rainbow Curlie…So far that is the only color I missed. >.<
So anyone out there with broken Peacock Orientals keep me in mind if you don’t want them! 😉February 17, 2010 at 1:10 pm #774668Of all the bookends, I think I like the dragon ones the best; they have this expression saying, what the heck are they reading?
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.
