Yes, he is my favorite. He was a Christmas gifts and now the star of my collection! Only bad thing is my goal is to finish each Windstone family i start. Since he is a Ebay item i am afraid he will have to be a lone Griffin.
He looks like he’s got a family in those Poads, so I doubt he will be lonely
Your cabinet is awesome!
Edit: Oh my gosh Lokie, your Poads are kissing – SO CUTE! I also really like that PYO wolf – is he the colors of a shepard?

Thanks. It’s color scheme is a black lab/german shepard mix. It’s a memorial piece of my late dog Scarlet. And yes, she really did have that milk mustache

I thought the same thing!! There’s something about the mother dragon that has her back to us – she’s looking over her shoulder coyly like “don’t you love me?”
Sagi your collection rocks!! That Amethyst lap is beautiful!! And I see Heart’s Blood in there! *squee*

Heart’s Blood? Like from the Jane Yolen pit dragon books?

Yes! Someone finally got the reference
I used to looove those books when I was a kid, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it when I was painting that dragon for Sagi
It’s the red Keeper with green eyes on the right in his pictures.
Oh.. hehe and also the second from the left in my sig

If it’s written in the english language and contains dragons, I’ve probably read it. Lol.
February 22, 2011 at 4:55 am #654371This is the first time I’ve posted my collection…I used to have quite a few more, but I had to sell of about half my collection when I was unemployed. Most of the ones on the top shelf are the ones I just couldn’t bear to part with, or would be too difficult to replace. I love waking up each morning and seeing them!
As you can see, I focus my collection efforts on a particular type of dragon
I just recently managed to find a Light Peacock and Ruby Young Oriental Dragon. They’re both so beautiful, especially the Light Peacock–they just glow. I’d love to get my hands on a Jade…. The wood’s not warped, I just blended two photos together in Photoshop. All in all it has five supports so at least I know it can hold all of them!
I just purchased this Emerald Peacock Lap, I’ve wanted a Lap dragon for a long time and this is one of my favorite production colors. She arrived kind of mangled but I gave her some TLC and she looks mint again. Silly shippers.
My mermaids keep my cockatoo cichlids company. And I just got the Tortoise recently too, after trying for a looooong time!
February 28, 2011 at 1:40 pm #654372What beautiful collections. I’m jealous
I only have one White Male Dragon from 86 that I found at an estate sale. But than again I’m fairly new to Windstone collecting. I love all these beautiful collections!

That’s how I started out! A white male dragon.
Back when I was a sophomore college and ebay was fairly new, I had an old catalog and remembered them, and on a whim, looked up windstone and found that dragon! I had pinched my pennies and lucked out on getting him! I only ever acquired a few windstones while in college, and didn’t pick up on collecting until I could afford to buy more after college when I had a job and could afford to. A white male dragon is a good way to start in my book.
