From what I read, it’s an Egyptian Spiny mouse. Cute little guys, for sure! I thought it would make a cute silent squeaker; -) I would love to have a rat someday, but with 8 cats….I need a bigger house or something…

I love my scratcher, for sure a character, not dirty though. I did not know the lap was OW mate. I guess a Lap will be my next one.
