My cousin is an airline pilot, so he and his wife nabbed some standby seats on a flight and swept my aunt off for a couple weeks in a warm and sunny place to cheer her up some. Grieving in an Oregon winter is adding insult to injury really – it’s just so GRAY.
I am always amazed at how strong my family is and how lucky I am to have them. And, as sad as we are, the grave is not the end. We’ll all be together again someday.
