Red Tailed Hawk Wolf and a WIP – updated pics of WIP

Red Tailed Hawk! I hated this thing for a little while and could hardly stand to look at it (and it didn’t help that I was trying to work on it while the semester was in full swing either) but now that it’s done, it’s come together beautifully, and his commissioner will hopefully be pleased when she sees him!

*laughs* I’m addicted to that game, so I figured I’d do Amaterasu in a PYO. It won’t be nearly as complicated as the hawkwolf, but it should be fun, anyway! 🙂

updated pic on Okami Amaterasu. Did her wings this way on both sides.

Now I think I’ll leave her sit for the night to see if I want to do anything else with her.

I was going to leave them solid red, do something a bit simple after Hawkeye up above, but you know, my design teachers have told me to push it far too often. So it’s been pushed. 😉

I’m not sure if I’ll do anything else with her beyond sealant and antiquing. Got thoughts?

There’s got to be a way to bring out the fur pattern and feathers. Now the white just looks flat. I’d wash it in light gray or something.

I was thinking the antiquing would do that, use a soft gray or something.

That would be perfect. Simple is fine, but it needs substance.
