We’re supposed to get anywhere from 4-10 inches of snow today. That and the wind is insane. My bf got home an hour ago, they let everyone go home early because of the weather.

but the summers are great! 😀 😀 😀
February 3, 2008 at 5:30 am #658503Id move to Canada. It’s so beautiful, regardless of some of the dangerous weather in incurs. However, being that my entire family is mostly in the US (or Europe, etc), only for true love would I move. In other words, if Christopher were still alive and he wanted to move to Canada (which we had discussed several times), Id go no problem.

February 3, 2008 at 4:45 pm #658505I need a vacation from LIFE like a 20 year vacation
February 3, 2008 at 5:02 pm #658506I spent the majority of my life in Michigan (middle of the mitten, lol) We moved to Georgia eleven years ago.
Today is supposed to be 67 and sunny. Don’t miss the cold or the snow. I love hot weather. 80 – 90 or so is good for me. I don’t even mind the humidity As long as I don’t have to move around too much. Maybe I could be a Dragon 😈I do miss the snow at Christmastime. A really deep fluffy snow on a sunny day is great. But wind chill, freezing rain, below zero temps, shoveling the stuff yuk 🙄 don’t miss it one little bit nope not at all
February 3, 2008 at 9:38 pm #658507Every snow fall this winter has been followed by a couple of days of rain making for not so fun walks through slush. I was going to get pics of the lovely white snow on the trees yesterday but it got warm and most of it is melted off. It’s supposed to rain this week too. Poor bf walks to and from work everyday, not so much fun trying to get through the huge, slushy, puddles without splashing all over.
February 3, 2008 at 9:59 pm #658508LOL it is still -24, like -11f, and it is supposed to get colder this week, execpt for wednesday we might get above -20. If so it would be the first outside recess for the schools here in about 3 weeks, 😆 .

February 4, 2008 at 10:53 pm #658513Speaking of winter here’s a poem:
Canadian Poem
It’s winter in Canada
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At twenty-five below.Oh, how I love Canada
When the snow’s up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And you nose gets frozen shut.Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I’ll hang around
I could never leave Canada‘Cause I’m frozen to the ground!!
February 4, 2008 at 10:57 pm #658514Today was very Spring-like in my part of Georgia. After a low of 38 F last night it got up to 78 F. The low tonight is only supposed to be 55 F and tomorrow it’s supposed to get up to 82 F.
February 4, 2008 at 11:11 pm #658515We’re about a day ahead of you with the heat, Peg. It was up to 80 degrees F here today. 😉
