The Violet flames are going to be production or limited production. Wendy (One of our production painters) was able to come darn close to the original Violet flame color, using the red paint we have available now.
We will do all the dragons in that color, eventually.
The uni colts are a grab bag batch of natural, boring, realistic horse colors.
We are now running out of baby unicorn horns, so I’m not sure when we will be able to make these in any production colors! If it’s a question of horns, then I prefer them not being available in production colors. There’s always a chance there’ll be something close in the GB batch. That way my baby uni can have an adopted sibling instead of a related sibling. 🙂

I disagree, I’d rather see production colors happen, we just need more horns to be made rather than leaving it at only one option….
4 things I'm looking for:
1. Mother Meerkat
2. production color Sitting Young Oriental dragons to be made in more colors besides VF, Brimstone would be awesome!
3. Female Griffin – Siamese with White
4. September Raffle Prize 2022 AHD Male GriffinAugust 13, 2013 at 9:21 pm #901419I think it would be nice to see both grab bags and productions colours in the unicorn colts if you can work out a way to get more horns.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
August 13, 2013 at 9:22 pm #901420Also Melody would you consider trying different eye colours on the dragons since it would be a new batch with this colour? I think the violet/dark blue eyes on my sugarplum poad would look like a great eye colour for the violet flame dragons seeing I don’t see much red on them. And I know myself and alot of others are not a fan of red eyes. I love the violet flame colour, but don’t think the red eyes look good with it.

August 14, 2013 at 12:35 am #901430Oh I hope they have red eyes so they match my lonely little fledgie <3
Wendy is a miracle worker! They look identical to the old Violet Flame. If you could manage these as production vs. limited I bet they would be a good seller. Much more demand out there for that vs amethyst or gold in my opinion.
either way, I'm just excited to see them being made again <3 ^_^

I think the violet flame dragons would be awesome if you made both red and violet eyes!
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
August 14, 2013 at 3:52 am #901432That would be pretty cool too

Just a thought. Or with the same eyes, those of us with the fledge and the curl are two steps closer to the full family… lolAugust 14, 2013 at 5:30 am #901434Oh jeez, grab bag unicorn colts – I better hurry up and get a job! I’VE HAD AT LEAST FIVE INTERVIEWS (LOSING COUNT, BAD WITH NUMBERS) IN THE PAST TWO WEEKS, I GOTTA SCORE SOMETIME!

August 23, 2013 at 1:53 am #901729August 23, 2013 at 2:16 am #901731Both Tie-Dye and Watermelon(?) are fantastic! Those hatchlings are really clever, and the Poad is adorable. 🙂
August 23, 2013 at 2:23 am #901732The watermelon color scheme is so awesome! Especially on the Emperor and Male dragons.
August 23, 2013 at 2:42 am #901734Oh my goodness! I laughed out loud when I saw the watermelon dragons! Those are amazing! I can’t figure out if one would go in my collection but that is the most creative and cool scheme I have seen. I love both the tie-dye and watermelon ones!
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
August 23, 2013 at 5:43 am #901741Correct me if I’m wrong, but is that Tie-dye coiled mother holding a cadbury mini egg? Also, so much love for those watermelon eggs. 🙂
August 23, 2013 at 8:05 am #901742Who the heck woulda thought watermelons woulda worked?? Lol! That’s an interesting mind to put those two together.
