Eep! I did really want a rainbow empreor at one point but I am far too poor right now. A broken one I could fix would be ideal, but I personally wouldn’t pay more then probably a hundred. Breaks like that kill the resale vale for them unfortunately. You’re probably better off keeping him.

Just thought you might like to know… I keep track of the price of Windstones on ebay and haven’t seen a Rainbow Emperor in the last 2 months (time I’ve started keeping track), but for comparison, there have been four Peacock Emperors listed as “not mint” and they sold for:

189,40 $
181,47 $
153,50 $
118,48 $

And 2 mint ones sold for:

153,55 $
200,00 $

So like Drag0n said, you might be better off keeping him.

hmm. Well maybe I can try to fix him better-like that griffin’s foot that was re-sculpted. I really wanted him to be perfect since I saved all summer for him, and he IS my favorite. I think 4 months is too late to redeem the insurance anyhow, even though I notified the store the day I got it. hmm

Well its only been 81 days since he was delivered, so even with a 90 day time limit, if I can find the box, I should be covered. But I had been dealing with this man for the dragon for months, and I’ve dealt with this store since (Magical Omaha) so he should remember me. I called immediately after seeing he was broken and assessing the damage.
I do have the box, and the plastic bag he was in-which to my surprise has a ton of little pieces in it! Yikes! Well, I guess its proof that he broke in te box

OMG that is AWFUL!!!! Can you go back to Paypal and say “I paid for insurance and the seller did not insure the package…therefore the item is not as described, I want my money back.”

allright, nevermind 😳 The seller said he wasn’t insured, but the post office says he is! They’re waiting to find out how much he was insured for. sorry to keep switching back and forth
