Well my second personal loss this year, at least it came at the very end….
I had my mom put him down tonight, I did everything I could to nurse him back to health, but I think he just had something very nasty that ate away at him. No use speculating, he is in a better place. I know it seems weird to get all emotional about a lizard, but he was my baby and I miss him very much already.
I’m sorry, Nirvana. I didn’t know you could put lizards down. It’s not weird at all to be attached to a lizard; they’re living, breathing things that you can grow attached to. I’m really sorry.

Your lizard was a pet and pets are like family…so there is noting wrong or weird about it.IM so sorry Cat. I feel for ya. And the words “just a lizard” belong right there in the garbage next to “just a dog.” Love ya girl. Im so sorry for your loss.
Major bummer, I am so sorry Nirvana, he was a beautiful lizard. He’s a Bearded Dragon right? Anyway, no pet is a “just a anything” No matter how small a pet is, it is still a pet and beloved by its family and its loss is always causes a hole in the hearts of those left behind.
Man, are our forum members having it rough this holiday season with losing pets. I hope it doesn’t continue.

I’m so sorry hon….He’s a very handsome beardie. I get emotional over mine too, they’re family members just like the larger animals. *hugs*
