Question about red fire hatching

I just noticed my red fire hatching dragon has red eyes. I just noticed this when I sat him beside my red fire fledgling. He is definatley a red fire and not a ruby. Is anyones elses like this?

That’s weird. Can you post pics? I dont have any red fire’s at the moment so I’m no help 😀

Actually, JellyFish, another older thread mentioned this phenomenon. Apparently quite a few snuck out of the factory with red eyes. Here’s the thread. There’s a pic in there too, of a Red Fire Hatchling with red eyes.

Yup! Definitely red (which is why I snagged him, and the local store near me that sells a few hadn’t marked him way up yet!). I may get a regular red fire hatchling later, but I’m content with this little fellow if nothing else. 🙂

I just have the OW and the fledgie in that color and they both have orange eyes.

A store that used to be near me had one of the red eyed red fire hatchlings. I guess a bunch must have slipped out. I don’t remember hearing of it in any of the other sculpts.

I was expecting my Fire Birthday dragons, Fledgie, Young and Hatcher, yesterday but alas they did not show up nor did I get the UPS tag so I can get them held for pick up or re routed to a UPS hub I can actually pick them up from easier then the one in my area
