That would be kewl…though I’ve never done one before, but my hubby uses an airbrush all the time for his minatures and RC cars….
Do you pick the colors or do the people request a color scheme?
November 9, 2008 at 7:46 am #738503The organizer gives you another Windstoner’s request. Some people ask for specific colors or designs, but some folks give the artist free reign.
November 10, 2008 at 8:36 pm #738504Sorta like this…
I’d like to recieve a Griffin, with red eyes, and my favortie colors are, _______, _______, ________. That’s what I usually say. I don’t care what they use for a theme, or the shades of the colors. All have been really interesting. I just give a few colors I like or would like to see together, and let the artist do whatever they like with it. 😀 It is quite fun! Also, when you send in what you would like to have, if there is a sculpt you just can’t paint to your satisfaction you can ask to paint anything other than that particular sculpt. 😉November 11, 2008 at 6:24 pm #738505I just noticed that theres a new Keeper in the gallery from a previous swap too. Did we have a swap when they were available?
I think ( not next time, but some time when the economy is better and there are more available ) we should have a Keeper swap! 😀

I think last time there was only one swapped Keeper. Medley asked that we leave Keepers and Muses out of the swap to keep it fair. (If I remember right.)
November 11, 2008 at 6:46 pm #738507Last time, there were some Keepers left from the first batches. Whoever had them on hand could use them, but none could be ordered, as the factory was already out. This time, they were out too, ’cause none are made yet (much to the despair of everyone, I think).
Next swap is in March, but I don’t know if the keepers will be up and running (or should I say flying) by then. We could do a “special edition” swap for keepers only, if people are so enclined. Same with any other sculpt, actually.
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

That’s an interesting idea, but people would have to have those sculpts on hand, wouldn’t they? Since if they don’t get one ordered, then … well… I dunno.
Like if you did a keeper swap, and 30 people signed up, but there was only 15 in the store. What happens to the other 15 people?
November 11, 2008 at 8:00 pm #738509Well, we’d either have to pressure Melody into making more Keepers ASAP, or postpone the swap, I guess.
November 11, 2008 at 8:04 pm #738510Sorry for not finishing Medley.. I feel horrible and I shoulda listened to you when u mentioned I was cutting it close in the first email. 😕

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmNovember 15, 2008 at 12:32 am #738512Well, we would probably have to mention it to Melody just so we would know when there would be pleanty available. I think it would be fun for an all Keeper swap too just because for a lot of people it might be their first time painting one. They’re so fun and challenging! I love it! I’m sure once the casting department is up and running we could arrange something, but probably not for a while though. Maybe this time next year or something.

I can’t wait until my swappee sees her!
