Adorable! I love the chipmunk!
While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!

I’ve got the costs labelled out but of course there’ll be alot of plaster-waste and silicone-waste at first but eventually I’ll start making profit. I’ll be ordering the casting stuffs next week and then I’ll be rolling on these guys! The dragonsnail I’m currently considering paint color schemes for. π
How big is the dragon snail? Your pics give no size refs.
Put me down for one of each too. No rush…let me know when you’re ready.

November 7, 2007 at 3:06 pm #610025Ok, here’s a size comparison, He is shorter than the pyos but nearly as long as the mother dragon….Hope this helps. π
November 7, 2007 at 7:35 pm #610026Here’s my jackalope baby I just finished.
November 7, 2007 at 7:40 pm #610027Oh, my pics don’t show that his front feet are actually hooves, I need to refine the antlers a bit but other than that I think he’s ok and will look good in different paint schemes. Although the first color will definately be the traditional coloring, white with tan antelope like markings. π He has a crouching little sister en-progress too and I started the second dragonsnail today! π
November 7, 2007 at 7:49 pm #610028Oh, that jackalope is adorable! The snail is much bigger than I imagined…now where am I going to put one of those? π π
November 7, 2007 at 9:38 pm #610029Oh the chirpmunk is the size of an actual chipmunk so he’s alot smaller than the dragonsnail. I started the basic form on my next dragonsnail today and I’ll post pics once I get something interesting enough to post. π
November 8, 2007 at 12:18 am #610030I love that jackalope, I hope I will be able to get a peice or two from you! π
November 8, 2007 at 12:39 am #610031Love the first pic of the snail dragon. Looks like he telling the PYO, “I’m just as pretty as you are…” π
And the jackalope is adorable!!
November 8, 2007 at 2:59 am #610032The jackalope’s horns will be slightly shorter (more babyish) and smoother when it’s done. I had to use an aluminum foil base with clay over it for them now but when I do the first casting I can file them down gently and do some more fine detailing to the plaster. So they should be smoother and more professional looking. I’ve got several snags like that on the dragonsnail which will be smoothed out on the first casting. Then a new, perfecter mold will be made and hopefully I’ll be happy with it then. I want them to be juuust right! π
November 8, 2007 at 2:24 pm #610033Here’s my start on the second snail dragon so far.
November 8, 2007 at 4:12 pm #610034Mwahahahaha!!!! I ordered my mold-making supplies!!! I can’t wait!! Yipeee!! π π π π

Ooo, curly Shell.
And yes, pic of the process please!!!
November 9, 2007 at 2:16 am #610037Alright Purplecat, you found my weakness, snails are the cutest creatures ever! Just be sure not to make too many at once or I won’t be able to afford them all. The dragon snail is so awesome and the shell on the second one is going to be so wicked looking…I already love it!
