Oh, seafoam dragonsnail! 😀 *drool*
I really need to get one in that color.
I think both are very pretty. But I think I prefer the shells antiqued.ah, this particular seafoam casting is discounted some on my site…I found a dent on the back of her shell, it isnt perfecly round like the others. You can see it on the side shot of her if you look. 🙂
I think her dent gives her character and the paint job is lovely! I need to save for your drakmouse and big cat, though.
really, I thought so too, and it doesnt really take away from the casting…but technically, it’s not a perfect casting, and I want to be honest with my sales…I already know that I’m imperfect, and will miss things on occasion. But when I do find a flaw, I want to be upfront about it. 😉
Seafoam is definitely your best color yet, but I really want a jeweltone tonna. Pretty please?
And yes, antique the shells. Looks better, IMHO.well, the jeweltone tonna is still hanging out in my online store. I’ll probably try the color out on the moonshells and the murex dragonsnail before my final decision, but I think I’ll keep that color. 🙂

I’d like to buy the jeweltone tonna, but I’m hoping for an upcoming vacation, so I think I’ll have to postpone the purchase…I just wanted to give a bump for purplecat’s wonderful work. The black and white feathercat was painted as a special favor to me. It is a memorial to my cat JouJou. PC did an outstanding job on him and I just love him!

About how much would a special commission cost? Not for right now, but I think my parents would like some of those flapcats to look like some of the cats they had way back when.
