I start out with sculpey clay..but then move to plaster for finer detailing. 🙂 I’ve got some pics of just completed pieces…coming soon.

A question…do you prefer the shell antiqued with the dragon..like the seafoam dragon..or left unantiqued..like the midnight dragonsnail??

I think it depends on the dragon color, weather or not to antique the shell. I think they both look great the way they are…maybe antique the lighter colored dragons, and not antique the dark ones?

I’ve edited my webpage so that the Tonna’s are up for sale now. Since I’ve not sold anything via my website yet…go ahead and send me a pm if you decide to buy something, just as a trial run, I’d like to know that everything works ok. The feathercat was already sold, but I’ll be making some more, with slightly different white markings. 😀 😀

About the new eyes.

The old eyes were ok, but the sizes varied..I couldnt get them to send me a consistent product..in color or size..and some of the ones they sent were too round as well…making my sculpts look “pop eyed” in person..though they still photo’d ok from certain angles. The color would vary from batch to batch as well. With these eyes I can sculpt an eye socket..and know that the eye will fit, because she’s very thorough and consistent. I bought over $100 worth of eyes so I could compare and test for consistency..and as picky as I am…I was impressed. Her color, size and quality are all top notch. Sorry for those who preferred the old eyes. 😳
