June 17, 2008 at 4:05 pm #610609sorry….his wings and fur are way short of what I’m doing now. The biggest issue with that little guy is actually his ears, they broke on every single casting, and had to be resculpted for every order. I’ll probably sculpt another chirpmunk, a more anatomically correct one, once I get a couple more pieces refined. π
June 17, 2008 at 4:08 pm #610610I can understand that (tries not to pout π ) Still, he is awfully cute… but I like your work and will look forward to a ‘new and improved’ chirpmunk π

June 17, 2008 at 4:41 pm #610611I thought the chirpmunk was awfully cute too.
How’s the seafoam Tonna coming along? I’m anxious to see her in that color. πJune 17, 2008 at 5:37 pm #610612Well I’m glad I have my chirpmunk already! 8)
June 17, 2008 at 6:08 pm #610613a chirpmunk proto-type π

June 17, 2008 at 6:11 pm #610614That’s why I got my pink moonshell when she first started the refining process. I wanted a first edition piece! π

Oh, some good news! I’m getting alot closer to completion on the tatzelcat, he’s looking sooo neat. His fur detailing is almost done, then I just have to finish up his scales and wings! π

Sorry it took me a while to answer this one…the Jeweltone Tonna was just a test paint, so I wasnt really sure if I would be keeping the color. I do however need a couple darker colors added to my selection. This first one was an experimental try…so she’ll probably be a a little unique. Do you think the Jeweltone color is worth doing more of? If there’s enough interest I’ll probably keep the color. π
June 17, 2008 at 7:57 pm #610617I think the jeweltone one is really neat! It’s good to have several color options. And having a darker one in there offers a nice variety. π
June 17, 2008 at 8:05 pm #610618Please, I like darker colours so it gives me a nice option.
June 17, 2008 at 8:37 pm #610619I think I’ll try to put a few darker toned colors in my selection for you guys then. I have a few ideas I’ve been meaning to get around to anyway! π π
June 18, 2008 at 5:07 am #610620Oh Rats, I missed out on the hippocampus, Pegasus and the Chirpmunk π
June 18, 2008 at 7:11 pm #610621Could you ‘refine’ your hippocampus. I really liked that one too. I hoped I could purchase one some time π . Then again Purplecat, they are alot of your little creatures I like to purchase π .
June 18, 2008 at 9:00 pm #610622I only got three castings from the hippocampus..it’s currently entombed into the mold…I cant get her out.
I do still have the seafoam and the buckskin twilight castings, I havent decided whether to sell them now or not….knowing I cant make any more. π We’ll see. Perhaps I’ll figure out something to do for it eventually.
Well…I sculpted all night at the hospital last night..my hands hurt soo bad. But here’s some pics of what I got done.
