May 21, 2008 at 4:43 pm #610474Rock and all, he’s a little over 4 inches tall at his wing crests. π
May 21, 2008 at 5:27 pm #610475That sounds like the perfect size! How much do you estimate he’ll sell for and can I have first dibs on the very first one? I so like collecting artists…. π Do you come along with him for sculpting lessons? π π

I really havent much idea on price yet, less than 100 I’m sure… Once I get some of the refining done on my pieces currently waiting for attention, I’ll be putting together some sort of brochure or something…with different pieces and size listings….at least I hope to, I have to figure out how to DO that first. But right now I’m focusing on getting some projects moving that have been waiting for attention. Once my soft plaster gets here things will be going much faster, I hope… π π I have a list of critters needing sculpting, a list of critters needing refining, and a list of critters needing molds made…..lol.
May 21, 2008 at 9:58 pm #610479If you need some help designing a brochure I used to do page layout and design for a newspaper about 5 years ago. I didn’t design ads, but I did design regular news pages as well as the Sunday “Living” section. I may not have access to Quark XPress anymore, but I can duplicate a lot of what I used to do in Photoshop.
May 21, 2008 at 10:03 pm #610480It’s funny; I was thinking that someone here MUST know about laying out brochures… and tada!
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

I host the feedback lists, which are maintained by drag0nfeathers.

There are times I miss doing design and layout, but I sure as heck don’t miss working second shift (3 PM to 12 AM) or the favoritism towards the reporters.
May 21, 2008 at 10:53 pm #610482Once I get closer to being able to take pics of the newer pieces I’ll probably take you up on that offer! π π π
May 22, 2008 at 5:34 am #610483What a neat idea, purplecat! Very cute – and I don’t even like mice.
May 23, 2008 at 1:35 am #610484Soooo CUUUUTE! π What an adorable little incarnation of darkness! I can’t wait to see how he comes along…

I’d be availible to help out with a brochure if you’d like too.
May 23, 2008 at 11:17 am #610486Wooot! We finally got a successful pour with soft plaster! I had been sent a bad batch and had to totally re-order, kissing 100 bucks goodbyes. the company wasnt helpful at all, so I went back to who I had been using, and they (THANK GOD!) sent me good plaster.
So now I have lots of pretties to refine! all the delays were killing me!
YAYS!!!!!!! π π π π π
