Some new pics!
This is my adolescent dragon, I cant wait to paint a few. 😉
Here’s a shot of the sleeper dragon in the seafoam color.
I’ve been sculpting on both the remade twittergriffin and a winged cat this week. I asked Melody if I could do winged cat art, and she said that’s ok, but I cant call them flapcats however, as that name is copyrighted. I also need to make sure mine stay away from her style, and dont look like a mimic of hers, which of course I knew. It is always good to check however. Mine look like some sort of comic parody of winged cats…as the one I’m working on has an enormous grin…he looks more like a comic cat than anything. I think I’ll sort of keep them cartoonish looking, as that buffers me from ever getting very close to Melody’s flappers. Sooooo, if you ask about or refer to my winged cats…Please please dont call them flapcats…as I dont want to feed any confusion, but do like the idea of cats with wings. I doubt anyone could possibly mistake the two however, as mine is in a bizarre pose. He has one leg hiked up in the air…like cats do when they are washing themselves…which mine always seem to do when company comes over, and he is looking up like, “what, arent I pretty?”. Lol…..
