That’s great! The dragonsnails were/are my favorites. Eagerly awaiting pics of the new version. Please be sure to post samples of the colors, too.
February 7, 2008 at 5:50 pm #610234Are you making any progress on these? I still want a chirpmunk. 😀
February 7, 2008 at 6:02 pm #610235Yes actually!! I finally got a rubber that does what I need it too, plus I’ve done several more sculptures in the meantime. We figured out how to do the plaster pour without bubbles, and hopefully, hopefully, hopefully this batch will be a success. If you like I’ll post some pics of the more recent sculpts. They’re also scattered throughout my livejournal, which I use as a workjournal as well. 😀 😀 I totally started over on the dragonsnails too, and I’m on my third one now!

February 7, 2008 at 11:30 pm #610243So far, once I get rid of a couple snags, these guys wont be a problem to cast either. 😀 Lemme see if I can find my pic of the other one.

February 7, 2008 at 11:39 pm #610245I’m soo sorry for all these old pictures. Alot of these are already completed and underneath molding rubber or I’d be taking more pics for you. The sleeping baby dragon came out awesome, but the in progress pic gives an idea of her. The mermaid is finished too. Lemme know your thoughts, I always love input. 😀

February 7, 2008 at 11:57 pm #610247Yup! That’s Aurora! She’s doing just fine, we still have to save up to take her to a specialist so we can find out her specific allergies. 😀 She wanted to pet this one! 😆 I’m actually working on a sculpt of Aurora as a mermaid too, the mermaid above is Vivacia.
