I pay $69 for the shipping of an OW.
December 6, 2007 at 3:12 pm #610159Holy CRAP! I will NEVER whine about shipping again! Is it better if you get several pieces shipped together? π―

December 6, 2007 at 4:33 pm #610163@ Basil: dont forget the ZOLL, aka customs
if customs find any pricetags they tax you instantly, same goes if they suspect value or the package is heavy.
They are very persistant. They desperatly try to tax my own artwork when its shipped back to me. even if my name is hugely crossover written on the piece. I have a letter file at ready here every time when this happens which just lets me fill in the date and name of the piece and the title says: you taxed my friggin own work again cant you read you morons… in diplomatic language of course.December 6, 2007 at 4:41 pm #610164geez… π― the things people will do for $$…. π

Oooookaaaaayyyy… π― That definitely is a lot… The biggest shipping cost I have ever paid was 20 euros (approximately 29,24 dollars, I think). I sent this one book to Chessie back then.

She usually buys from me. π But it is definitely expensive to ship overseas now. And it depends on weight.

Yes, that helps. Of course, it depends on their declared value, because what I save in sipping often gets handed to customs instead…

Like purplecat said… There used to be a dealer in Lausanne, on the other side of the country, but when I went to see what she had, there was nothing. π Emerald is my dealer. π

Customs is a louse. I paid about $80 in customs for my BEP OW, and I’d have to pay $150-$200 for the BVP (because he’d be valued at the winning bid) if Windstone hadn’t been so kind as to ship him to Ski so she can bring him when she comes to visit in February. π (Plus, I saved $39 shipping by having it sent to an APO address.) π
December 10, 2007 at 4:32 am #610171Just baked my cloudfish and the sitting up twittergriffin! The cloudfish is really awesome! I’m really excited about him! For right now the pics are just in my livejournal account, the Purplecat creatives link is under my siggie.
